I, too, started getting pruney fingers when first diagnosed. I'm pretty sure it was part of the Raynaud's that I started suffering from when I was diagnosed.
I still get the prune effect (just a slight chill in the air will do it). But the Raynaud's has greatly diminished since I started taking nifedipine (for high blood pressure).
I never considered that it could be B12, but I get pruney fingers! Thinking about it....I really think they are much less pricey with well controlled B12 levels.
I cannot stand the feel of dry air on my fingers and having everything I touch feel..dry. So I used a LOT of lotio n. I've always blamed the lotion for my raisin fingers but it really could be B12!
