I ask as I have just tested for B12 and came back with 224 (<145- Deficient, 145-250-Insufficient, >550- ideal).

I have also noticed that sometimes if I have a glass of wine, my right kidney aches the next day.

random I know...?

kidney disfunction is generally associated with higher rather than lower B12 levels because of the role that the kidneys play in removing excess B12 from the blood.

Low B12 is associated with higher rates of infection, including urinary tract infection, because of its role in maintaining the immune system.
