Dear All

Sorry to have to do this but please can I reiterate that it is not permissbale to 'flame' or make derogatory or personnaly insulting comments about other forum members. Under any circumstances.

It is reconginsed that people in the forum do sometimes have differing opinions about...oh...all sorts of things. And it's perfectly acceptable to debate those different views...so long as this is done without recourse to personally insulting comments.

Please - if you spot this happening, report any instances so that we Admins can take appropriate action (report function is in the edit tab...state your concerns in the report 'box' that appears on the screen, and then press submit).

Administrators reserve the right to edit posts that do not conform to forum guidelines, without notification. Copies of our forum guidelines are attached in the links below (for those that may not have seen them):

We're usually a very happy, kind and respectful tribe of folks...so keep up the good work 😀.

Thanks all 👍

Hi Foggy I don’t think I have ever seen a derogatory comment about some on else who is posting. I can’t imagine it as everyone here is so supportive and I have learnt so much from their comments about how to. Improve certain outcomes. I hope some of my posts have not been considered that way. Everyone on here seems to share a lot of similar problems so I cannot imagine it. It is very painful to lift up the phone right now but I know there would be some people who can’t even do that,

My best always

Suzee

one of the reason why comments aren't visible is because admin respond quickly and edit or remove such comments promptly when they become aware of them, eg because a member of the forum has reported a comment.

There was a string of comments yesterday on one particular post, hence the reminder.

I believe that the main poster concerned was actually new to the forum.

Hi Melbourne-Girl. It's as Gambit62 says. Like most fora, we do sometimes get instances where replies descend to levels that are not quite appropriate. But thankfully, this doesn't happen often...and we admins do edit and remove anything inappropriate as quickly as possible. So the fact that you haven’t,t spotted anything before is good news.

And no...no problems with any of your replies 😉.

Usually, we tend to send a personal message to anyone who engages in this type of behaviour, but in this instance, messages just would just not send...hence the general 'reminder' post in the forum instead.

Pleased you're find the forum useful and supportive. We have a fantastic bunch of folks who are always ready to help.
