If I’m going to start self injections how much folic acid would i need to take I’m thinking of Si once monthly thanks in advance

You shouldn’t need more than anybody else. I would go for the top of the NHS recommendations - 400 mcg per day.

You may feel a benefit from taking a broad spectrum multivitamin and mineral supplement to ensure that you have plenty of all your requirements in balance. This may well provide all the additional folate you need for monthly jabs.

Make sure you get plenty of B12 before you take much extra folate (B9) because taking folate can mask the symptoms of B12 deficiency and it is essential that you sort that out first.
