Another reason that nurses need training is that they’re often the ones who try to restrict B12 treatment.
I was told by one nurse that nobody has loading injections more than two weeks. She was about to refuse my next appointment when I told her to look at the second paragraph in the BNF.

Some nurses (from personal experience) can get quite annoyed at polite offers of useful b12 documents to look at.
I was told that people only have B12 injections every 3 months....but I pointed out that BSH Cobalamin guidelines say every 2 months for those with neuro symptoms.
