Hi, I have PA and have B12 injections every 12 weeks. I have had it since my 20's. I also take folic acid tablets. Can I take Selenium tablets as well? I also have thyroid problems which Selenium is really good for? Thanks, Kathy

I can’t think of any reason why you shouldn’t.

You need to be careful with selenium. While you must get enough, it is easy to get too much. You can overdose if you eat just 6 Brazil nuts every day. The Linus Pauling Institute website is a good source of information:

lpi.oregonstate.edu/mic/min...

It suggests and RDA for adults of 55 micrograms/day, and a tolerable upper limit of 400 micrograms/day.
