B12 injections

Hi I wrote a few months ago stating that as my husband has not improved with the loading dose of 6 injections then 1 every 3 months which started April 2017 because his level was 51. Private test done with Blue Horizon. I also stated that his dr thought he had Parkinsons. At that time everyone on the forum were wonderful with their help. We persuaded Dr to check for folate which came back ok, he also tested for B12 again which was about 3 weeks after injection. We joined the PAS and were advised to print out various information and thus armed went back to dr requesting an appointment with a neurologist. Waiting time long so decided to pay to see him £275.00 was the fee paid today. The neurologist thanked the dr for sending my husband there and agreed with him that it was definitely Parkinsons and would not discuss B12 at all when I tried to say we had contacted the PAS he interrupted me before I could say that he had the B12 symptoms more than the Parkinsons ones he said that the B12 was a red herring and had nothing to do with what's going on and no need for the injections. My poor husband is devastated especially as the suggested pills for the Parkinsons will give him the symptoms he already has. I know the PAS in on holiday at the moment but am at wits end what to do as this is such a severe blow especially as B12 dismissed and possibly no more injections. What do we do next as dr and neurologist are biased?

Being ignorant is one thing. Being blatant about it and choosing to ignore obvious facts is another. Actually prescribing pills known to cause harmful side effects puts it to another level.

I personally think they are criminally negligent but doubt you will get anywhere legally and you don't need the hassle.

It is likely your best option is self injecting as you know he is fine with the jabs. If he had been diagnosed with diabetes you would have to and this isn't any different.

B12 is available from a range of online German pharmacies. I get mine from versandapo.de. MyCare has been recommended here too. See a recent reply by Foggyme. I set up a PayPal account to pay for it and it is very simple.

If you need further help with this then please post again.

I have just started buying my injection equipment from Exchange Supplies in Dorchester (post anywhere) as they do a range of finer needles.

Go for it and get your lives back! Best wishes!
