Vial Craft Project

Ever since I started getting single-dose vials of B12, I haven’t really known what to do with the empty vials. Considering that they cost almost ten times as much as the multi-dose vials I used to buy, I find the empty vials both too cute and too expensive to bear throwing away. They were starting to pile up and I finally came up with an idea: I decided to turn them into tiny potion bottles.

I do have a slightly odd sense of humor, but here is the end result. I thought I would share the picture in case anyone else could use a laugh.

I think I'm looking at the beginnings of an art installation - keep collecting! They are too cute! :)

They are BRILLIANT!!! 😁

I can't make up my mind which ones I like best.

I've never seen these little vials before and I'm glad you see their value, saved them and worked your magic on them!

Thank you so much for sharing this with us! xx

Well done! As an artist myself, and also an odd sense of humor, I totally get it! I've been saving my vials for a couple years to get enough to create what I see in my mind. 😋 Hey, maybe I should ask people here to send me theirs?! I'm also collecting guitar strings (or any string instrument: Bass, cello, violin, viola, mandolin, etc...) for another piece. Keep telling myself, patience!!

Seriously though, those bottles are such a precious little size, and geez, glass too! It's exciting to know I'm not the only one who sees value in those cute little suckers.

Keep on with it and have fun!

Hahahahah, Galixie - especially love "chicken lips" !

Still think we need to have an exhibition to raise awareness of what it feels like to be us ! So much talent here -and so much harder-hitting if visual, - like Hidden 's cartoons and sketches.

oh my goodness, I would so buy an art piece with all these! You're not on Etsy, are you?! :)

I'm a designer maker and jeweller and collector of stuff as so much of what we throw away can have a inspirational side. Thank you so much for this - I have shared it on Facebook. I collect the needle covers as I get rid of the needles into a sharps box and I will find a way to use these too.

Woops, the covers NOT the needles!
