Self injections

Hey again.

So my GP wants to stop my weekly injections. I still have symptoms (am seeing a neurologist in Jan for MRI- see previous post) I want to self inject as I am feelings little better after 5 injections (not 💯 but numbness, pins and needles and tremors are getting better) I bought some insulin needles over the counter and want to do into my belly, any advise as some things say has to be IM and others do Subq and say it works? I'm going away for a few weeks and do not want to be sick for my holiday. Thanks again for any advise. I know IM is probably my best but want to know if Fat will work as I don't like the though of doing it in a muscle in case I stuff it up. 😳

Sub-Cut should work just as well as IM. Indeed, it is possible it may be better as it may result in slower absorption (which is a good thing).

Good for you ! You will find how liberating it is to take control of your health . Just persevere and you will be successful . The carton the ampoules of B12 come in state that it can be administered I.M. or sub-cutaneously . I use I.M . Just because it’s how they do it in the NHS. I’ve got used to that after over 2 years . All the best to you .
