Haemoglobin estimation

My recent blood test (FBC) showed hb. as 113 - lab. level 115-165 dr. said borderline anaemic not low enough to need to supplement, just eat as much iron rich foods as poss. Any advice?

Thanks , entirely agree about the blatant "double standard" that docs. appear to use when it suits them. Think I will try a low dose iron as I'm feel on the tired side. Vit B12 level was 604 so it's not that causing tiredness. Oh dear another trial and error (and expense) as dr. really not interested.

You may need all round vitamins and ditching the grains (say for three months ) to help your system improve. B12 needs folic acid also you may need D3 and Vit C and magnesium. I ate liver which helped my vegan deficiencies.
