After having symptoms of b12 deficiency and taking rantidine for 2 years. My blood results showed normal b12 level of 600. Is it possible that I'm not absorbing the b12 due to the ranitidine? My doctor completely ruled out b12 and said it's not worth pursuing because it can be more dangerous to take too much b12. So I'm wondering if it really is worth pushing the issue. I'm going for a MRI and being referd to a neurologist for further testing

Symptoms of B12 deficiency overlap with other syndromes. It is true that ranitidine can inhibit B12 absorption but with a level of 600 that doesn't seem to be the problem in your case.
If you want to pursue it further then ask for an MMA test.
