There are some companies that do private testing - medichecks and bluehorizon come up quite freuently. If you are in UK, St Thomas's in London also do some private testing.

However, please be aware that GPs can be funny about whether they will accept the tests.

I use Blue Horizon - a good one to start with is Thyroid Plus 10 as this includes B12, you can do a finger prick or get your nurse to do it from a vein, if they will (or a nurse if you know one). They use an NHS lab and always put on a doctor's comment if the sample is abnormal 😊
