Low ferritin

Hi!

I'm 30 yrs old female, my ferritin level goes down very low to 10.8, due to which I'm suffering from severe hair fall it's really depressing. Please suggest me something, I want to boost up my ferritin quickly.

Do you know why your ferritin levels are so low. Has it happened more than once as they should be discovering why. I took ferrous sulfate (iron tablets) when mine was low, but it should be done in consultation with your doctor.

First time I got this ferritin test done as my homeopathy doctor asked me. Otherwise since last 3 years I was not able to know the real cause of falling down hair, though since then I'm having rich diet without knowing about ferritin and all.

Have you had your Thyroid checked recently? As Hidden says, ferritin should be checked with your doctor as it can be toxic and needs to be monitored.

Yes it's been checked, I don't have thyroid.

But low ferritin seems that I'm Anemic
