What is the daily dosage recommnded for Vit B please?

There is no maximum recommended for B12. If you are deficient, you might be okay with anything from one sub lingual to 6 a day. What your body doesn't need it passes. the standard tablet dose is 1000microgrammes, where it is assumed that the body will only absorb 1% of this amount.

GGourmet, whilst B12 isn't toxic high levels in serum can cause problems for some people so I wouldnd't recommend use of high dose oral unless somebody knows that they have an absorption problem but can't get the correct treatment - which is generally injections - because they are having problems getting medical practitioners to recognise correct protocols.

I agree. I was once told high levels were associated with prostate issues in men.

different ranges in UK and US - US goes for 2.5mcg a day - so may vary in other jurisdictions as well.
