Just to say I have perviously posted stories on this website which at least in Scotland are shared with some NHS and Social Care agencies also interested politicians. May be worth some people posting their stories on these websites.

careopinion.org.uk

I have found these useful myself and have had some good response to stories I have posted on them. I advise people to check them out for themselves.

Just a further comment...if you are referring to people posting in this particular forum can I Just add that some people may not want their stories shared in the public domain (even though it is anonymous)...but some might not mind πŸ˜€.

Just so forum members are aware of the options:

It's my understanding that unless posts are locked for viewing in this community only, they are routinely available across the web (indeed, NHS choices has a rolling screen that displays HU posts and replies). Also - information that appears in this way can be viewed, downloaded and used - without the permission of the poster.

So...if you do not want information that you post here to be accessible (and indeed potentially used) by others, please lock your posts before posting.

To lock a post: when you have typed your post, go to the bottom of the screen and you will see two tick boxes (post to everybody or post to my community). If you check the 'everybody' box, your post will be widely accessible to both this site and potentially elsewhere on the web. If you check the 'my community only' box, the your post will only be available to members of this community and will not appear on NHS choices or anywhere else on the web.
