Would anyone be kind enough to describe the visual symptoms they are having or have experienced and what if anything resolved them.

Visual Symptoms
i am still struggling with my dr. to be treated for b 12 deficiency. i have many of the symptoms neurological as well. for me my visual issues are blurred vision and seeing things not as bright as i normally should. i also have flashes of light or floaters to the sides of vision or perifial vision. that is my vision issues.
Thanks
For me it's things being much brighter than I ever remember.
I've had to turn the tv brightness down as it seems too vivid and I replaced some of our lampshades as if I can actually see the light bulb it literally burns my eyes.
At my worst the lights left a trail when I looked away.
Right before all this kicks off I believe I had three episodes of migraine. On the first occasion I lost a patch of my central vision and had zigzag white lines. The second two were bright zigzag lines and quite scary. I've not had them since I started taking b12 though and at the time I had quite bad postural tachycardia.
I've had convergence for a long time and use glasses with prisms to good effect but about two years ago I struggled to find glasses I felt ok with because I kept seeing the frames.
More recently I don't seem to be able to ignore my nose. It's just there in my field of vision and can be distracting.
When I look at a light surface or at the sky I can literally see my heart beating in my vision and get little floaters that change with each beat.
I can understand the flashes of light in peripheral vision but after a bit of detective work I think I am seeing things that are actually there but that my brain would ordinarily of just ignored like the tv reflecting off walls etc.
I turned everything off and sat in the dark and couldn't replicate the sensation.
I do have low vit d and just read recently that the eyes need calcium to be able to avoid overstimulating the nerves.
There may be something in that.
I've had my eyes tested twice and my vision is fine.
I can actually see nice and clearly. It's just that I'm massively aware of everything around me.
I'm also wondering if staring at a phone screen for hours hasn't helped things because when I'm sat in the car looking through the windows and wearing my glasses I don't recall experiencing anything untoward.
I've also not ruled out anxiety.
All very strange.
This illness makes us feel so vulnerable it's no wonder we feel on edge and somewhat flighty.
I had photosensitive eyes and terrible night vision... Both of these visual problems have resolved since I had b12 injections

When I read from a computer screen the words seem to dance a little, like they are vibrating! My recent eye examination was fine, only need glasses for night driving as lights seem to be blurry. Although I am probably under medicated for B12 deficiency. Bright lights feel uncomfortable, luckily all our bulbs are energy saving so don't throw out too much light anyway!
I've had light sensitive eyes for years. I have rosecea and blepharitis ( when the rosecea spreads into my eyes, causing inflammation ). I also had blurred vision, colours not so bright. Thought it was just me ageing but after just a couple of months B12 injections I noticed a huge difference, especially in my night vision. I drove comfortably at night for the first time in several years.
Not sure yet if there's any difference in the photo sensitivity yet.
My visual disturbances are generally related to migraines - and those have a huge hormonal content.
I get patches of colour - yellow, orange, blue, red
Often get small shooting stars which is like being in a snow storm. This affects my ability to focus.
I've only really had the zig-zag lines in centre of vision on one occasion - whilst trying to do the crossword on the sofa with boyfriend ... so we did something else for a while ... and that worked as a cure (sure you can figure out what it was).
brightness is something that I can relate to in terms of B12 rather than migraines - certainly prefer more subdued lighting when levels are low. I also get sensitivities to particularly colours - notice red a lot more when levels are low.
