Following my post from earlier this week ive had some private blood test results back, trying to see if there is any reason for current exhaustion despite regular B12 injections.
Your thoughts/input would be gratefully received! Have posted thyroid results on the Thyroid UK page.
Many thanks 🙂

Hi Sunshine78 my first thought (not being medically trained) is that your low Folate needs to be increased as this gets "used up" processing the B12 you are having injected.
Perhaps a word with a pharmacist might help if you don't feel able to reveal these "private" test results to your doctor.
Are you self injecting B12 or are they via your GP?
Thanks Clivealive. Really appreciate your response. I am self injecting (original b12 tested at 120) but not taking folate regularly so will increase that. Could that being low affect my energy levels do you think?
I'm not sure about your energy levels but folic acid is essential to process the B12.
I've been taking 1 – Folic Acid 400μg every day for more years than I can remember but then I've been injected with cyanocobalamin 1000mcg every month for 45 years and I'm still "clivealive" at 75.
