If I am doing the injections e.g. weekly. Do I need to take the tablet daily or just injection is enough?

Most people find the jabs alone are enough. Some like to take other supplements of a different type (methylcobalamin lozenges with hydroxocobalamin jabs).

It might pay you suresh786 to check your Folate level as this is essential to process the B12 you are injecting. The two work together.

you need to go by how you feel. Personally, I inject hydroxocobalamin weekly, but find the need to take about 3x5000mcg of lozenges a day. They are methylcobalamin so I am having a mix.

I have injections and am also taking folic acid tablets (£1 from any pharmacy) as mentioned in some other replies. I also find the B12 dissolvable tablets (I use the "superior source" brand) a really helpful boost. They just melt under the tongue and don't taste of anything :)

I take folic acid, potassium and magnesium, but I have had a couple of blood tests for potassium and folate, so I can tell where in the range I am and know how much to take.
