Hi Mtaylor1211. It is quite usual to feel tired if you are in the recovery phase following any acute medical event but if it's something you're worried about it would be a good idea to talk to your GP. And you should certainly do so if the tiredness gets worse or you do not pick-up over time.

If you are posting here because you think you may have B12 deficiency or pernicious anaemia, it would be a good idea to read the PAS pinned posts to the right of this page when you log on.

The symptom checklist on the second pinned post will enable you to identify if you have any of the symptoms related to either B12 deficiency or pernicious anaemia and the rest of the posts will give you more information about both conditions.

If you do think you are affected by either condition, you could then take the information in to discuss further with your GP.

GP's are usually ill-informed about both conditions so you might have to be very persuasive in your attempts to get your GP to test and treat you, if you think is is necessary.

Please do post again if you need any further advice or support.

Good luck and I hope you begin to feel much better very soon x
