Absolutely Yes. I take a B complex with Folate in it. Thorne, Solgar and Doctors Best are sometimes recommended.
Look on Amazon for good deals. That's where I get them sometimes.

Yes, I would take 400ug a day, if I were you. Tesco's own brand folic acid is cheap and just as good as anybody else's.
