Thank you for all the advice for my poor brother. And also the advice on how to post this pic of his last results ( Lisahelen 😀) they didn't take bloods this week after he laid off all his supplements for weeks as the lab van had already left....grrrr!

I hope the writing is not too small.

Bit difficult to rea on my small laptop but don't see much has been tested and it seems ok. He has a bit more neutrophils than normal, which would fit with B12def, but also MS, but the WBC is only slightly elevated so does not say much, could be just the moment. What the lab says about B12: point that out to the dr, might get him to actually test stuff. Folate is fine at least. So I'm missing the D which is essential in MS and the rest we emailed about.

He was taking 5000iu of D3 thanks, up until the last few weeks when we laid of all supplements (for the bloods that didn't happen) and the k2 as well. Sublingual b12 metho. He doesn't eat enough green veg though. In the past I see a gp gave him 5mg of folic acid but John didn't keep it on repeat, but he has ordered it up again now.

Thanks for your help, I'll look up the things you mentioned.

Mary

Hello Mary,

I am very disapointed for your brother, did not get his blood on the blood van. He seems to have bad luck at your doctors practise, when logistics are involved. Mary, the practise could have mentioned the van leaves at a certian time. Did they not offer an alternative method of your brothers blood being delivered. My G P practise would.

Maybe, in a joking manner you or brother should mention how nothing is straight forward. Ask receptionist, questions covering yourself for proceedures going wrong. Then when they do 'you could make some noise' I fear, your practise is not taking you seriously. I am a cynic, & protective. Therefore, if I sound lacking in tolerance, forgive me please.

Hi Vala,

I get the impression they don't give a damn and we have to fight for everything. I would like copies of all his tests but worry they will kick up a stink even though it's his right... But they may be even more difficult with the jabs.

I will see another doctor but only know the one other one who us useless so it would be a chance with a lady doctor. I have a pal use that practice so I will ask her this weekend we are away.

Thanks,

Mary 😎
