I'd make sure I took a supply of alternative supplements - B12 patches, sublingual spray, etc.

Have a good time out there.

Oh, one more thing. If you get into trouble with your B12, in an emergency you could make an appt. with a naturopathic doctor. There are probably lots of those in California. They can prescribe B12 which you could pick up at a pharmacy or they could just give you an injection. Recently, my daughter went with her friend to her friends naturopath-her friend had PA and my daughter got a shot, too, for $15.00! Not sure the laws are the same in Oregon and California but there is a good chance that they are. Naturopaths are knowledgeable and understanding when it comes to B12.

May 18 I don't,t want to be precipitate but maybe it would be prudent to see if you would need some health insurance.you may not be aware it is a totally different health system. And would hate for you to run into problems.Years ago friends who came at the same time I did had an experience going to the emergency room and were refused treatment until they paid they freaked out and called my husband who bailed them out.If you are in possession of some knowledge it is all to the good.
