B12 injections....

Can anyone offer any good sources of B12 injections here in the UK or do you have to get them from Europe?

I think I have asked this before but can't find the thread.

Thanks in advance.

You will not be able to source injectable B12 in the UK without a prescription as all injectable substances are covered by the prescription only rules.

commonly used sources are

a) goldphrama

b) amazon.de

c) mycare.de

I believe that, if you have been diagnosed as B12 deficient and are already receiving shots then B12d.org can supply you with methyl B12 so may be worth contacting them if relevant, but please make a donation to cover the costs if you can.

In Britain injectable medications are POM which is "Prescription Only Medicine" so you have to either get them from your Dr. or buy them from the continent.

See my post "My Experiences" below for information.

I thought this might help some people. I get my B12 injections from VitaminB12online.com they delivery worldwide and they have all types of B12. I have been using them for over a year and the owner is a B12 deficiency patient. Would rather spend my money helping a fellow patient than large cooperates. She was also a wealth of knowledge on injecting questions I had when I first started injecting.

Hmm, I suppose it may be cheaper if you live in Oz, but £28 for 10 amps of methylcobalamin is a bit steep.

And I don't think I'd take their hydroxocobalamin -

Excipients include: sodium chloride, methly parahydroybenzonate, propyl parahydroybenzonate

You won't find those two parabens in any preparation for sale in the EU, because they are somewhat controversial. Some parabens have already been banned from cosmetics, and it looks as if they may extend the ban further. Rather than suddenly finding themselves with an unsaleable product, the manufacturers seem to have decided to jump before being pushed.

Where do you get methyl cheaper? This was the only place I could find when I first looked. Not that it matters to me now I am on Hydroxo but I have a friend who might be interested.

I have been using their hydroxo for over a year daily and don't have any issues and I have 3 monthly hair mineral analysis testing which shows toxins and it is not causing any issues. They did send me a sample box of another brand they were getting but it doesn't look like its on their site and it did not have parabins in it. Perhaps email them and ask about the other type they have.

Not what you're looking for?
