Had my first injection of 6 done yesterday morning and i am now finding it hard to get appointments that fit around work and the practice ..
If I can get appointments for 2 or 3 days in a row will that be ok ?

Guess its an individual reaction thing, but i was in the same situation and had three in a row. I cant prove it was because of that, but i became very breathless with pains in my chest afterwards. But im inclined to think it wasnt just a coincidence.
Its really a question to ask your GP as possibly they wouldn't be willing to do that.
Loading regime is in part based upon trying to find the most efficient way of loading B12 into your system. The rate at which it is removed is much greater when B12 levels in your blood are high so increasing the frequency is likely to mean that you don't actually retain as much at the end of the series of shots. However, there is a lot of individual variation in how the body treats and processes B12 so what happens on average isn't necessarily what will apply in your case. It certainly wouldn't be dangerous, though some people do find that they don't respond well to very high doses of B12 - not clear why but may be related to a different auto-immune problem affecting the transport of B12 to the cells where it is used.
I have 2 days together and the othersfurther apart. It's my only choice
Hi there........ When I was first diagnosed I was told I would need 6 loading doses done daily then every 12 weeks. I had 5 doses Monday through Friday then the last dose the following Monday, hope that helps. Pix
