A part of Inside Health, from somewhere around 19 minutes on the link below, is about use/abuse of nitrous oxide. They do mention the effect on B12 and consequential issues. Maybe not strongly enough, and without sufficient explanation, but at least it did not get totally ignored.

Yes, I heard the programme too,and I thought that they weren't going to mention the fact that Nitrous Oxide can deplete Vitamin B12. It was mentioned at the end but very fleetingly, without enough emphasis on the dangers to B12. Perhaps I'll see if I can send an E-mail to Dr. Porter about it.
