I had another blood test done on the 12th June.... I have been ringing the surgery for the results since, but today I was told it has gone to Preston Royal Infirmary (UK) for Imunology tests that take around three weeks to do, has anyone any idea what these tests could be?

Intrinsic factor and anti-parietal antibodies are immunology tests so if B12 deficiency is being investigated it could be those?

Thanks for the reply, I was diagnosed in 2005 no intrinsic factor, have changed doctors twice,my now doctor checked my B12 levels and changed my injection time from every two months to every three, I had been struggling along for years on the two months so challenged the change, to my surprise the doctor wasn't aware I had PA!! Then a couple of days later I was recalled for blood test on the 12 June, that's the one that's going to take three weeks to get the results from. Thanks for the info Secondchance x
