I had 6 loading injections 8 was ago and mine is not due for another 4 weeks.

I felt really well after these but am now going down hill again. No energy tired achy dry mouth etc.I am waiting for a phone call from my dr to ask whether I can have every 4 weeks.

Will update you as soon as I can.

Every one is different.

I had the opposite my Dr agreed to monthly injections but I had no loading dose so feel like my body is playing catch up every month after depleting the monthly jab! Am experimenting atm with extras like sublinguals, sending off for nasal spray and looking into self injecting.

Really hope you get what you need.

Good Luck

Hi, I had my loading doses in the summer. I too felt really after jab 3 and then for the next 6 weeks or so before going rapidly downhill. MY gp had already said he wanted to see me in three months after loading jabs for another blood test. I had this and then went back to see him, at which point he told me my b12 levels were nowhere near where he would expect them to be so obviously an absorption/storing problem even with jabs for me personally. He said I would have to have an injection monthly for next six months and then have blood retested. Maybe ask your gp for another blood test to check your levels. Good luck.

Hi that sounds just like me. I had my loading doses in August and was supposed to go back early Nov. I felt so unwell I made an appointment with the nurse 2 weeks early for my next dose. I went last Friday and got "into trouble" for going early. I pleaded ignorance and apologised as you do.

When I asked about more frequent injections I have been told the decision has to be made by my GP. I had to fight in the first place for my loading doses so I don't hold out much hope.

Good luck with your mission and will let you know how mine turns out........
