There are two versions. One for pernicious anaemia and one for B12 Deficiency.

You will be declaring no conflict of interest, won't you, Gizmo?

Yes, I am declaring no conflict of interest.

Thanks for that.

I am curious why you would ask me that.

I am also curious why simply raising awareness of a useful app would be assumed to be a conflict of interest. Wins the award for the oddest question on the board.

Because if it's your product it's known as spamming. A conflict of interest.

And it would appear you just joined the forum to say that - so you can have an award for being the oddest reason to join a forum.

Hello, erm, actually I've been here for a long while. I just don't know my log in or user name. I don't remember anything these days, after a huge brain insult last year from undiagnosed pernicious anaemia. If I find them I'll post again lol!

When I come to think about it, if you are a mod for this board, fair enough. You have raised something important. I've noticed more and more advertising for products, and many of them are not helpful, unlike this app. I really looked forward to the last PASoc conference, but it turned into something of a showcase to companies selling B12 products - most of which wouldn't work for people with PA or with allergies. One advert dressed up as a presentation was for a nose spray based on sesame oil - a common allergen. That was weird. It was really hard to understand why salespeople were allowed to advertise in time that we hoped would be filled with inspirational B12 researchers or activists.

I have no conflict of interest. I am just a patient. But re. apps. I am all for them. I have found the thyroid apps, the parathyroid app, vitamin status app, and now the B12 app, to be really useful. With the niche medical apps, it is hard to know how to raise awareness without people thinking you are advertising it - which are two different things.

Not what you're looking for?
