I have a few issues that have started since self-injecting and I wondered if anyone had any insights.
I started injecting daily - 1mg of Rotexmedica hyroxocobalamin and when I felt symptoms starting to subside I tailed it off to the point where now I only inject when I feel the effects lessening.
Issues I've and are these:
Weight gain
Fluid retention
Recurrent bacterial infections (I've just got over a bout of cellulitis and have a chronic problem with frequent Bartholins cysts)
Itchy skin
Has anyone else had any of these issues? The weight gain and fluid retention are particularly galling as I'm trying to lose weight. I haven't had any alcohol or bread or junk food for for seven weeks. I lost 1.5 stone but now it's creeping back up and my ankles look like those of an elephant.
Does anyone have any ideas or has been experiencing anything similar?

When I started supplementing seriously I did notice recurrence of things that I hadn't had for a while - think periods of itchy skin were one of those things, along with some aches in the hands that I hadn't had for a few years. These have since disappeared so I assumed it was just that as things put themselves right symptoms that were part of the journey to where I had gone were coming back as things improved but would disappear when they had improved enough.
I suffer from water-retention related to period anyway and haven't really noticed any change in this.
The way B12D affects people seems to be so individualistic.
