To pick up where I left off. My social security was taken away, I was halfway through bds surgery and lost my insurance. Thank God the VA stepped up and finished the surgery . They sent me out to a university doctor. Who did an awesome job. and finish up the bds on one side and turned me on and i saw results right away . Know keep in mind. I Don't know why but I never had a lot of tremors. my major problem was stiffness . This may have something to do with why the operation work so well . There is a honeymoon period with dbs. I felt so great the first week that I forgot to take my meds but then by the 2nd week everything kind of settle in. I finally figured out my daily dose of meds and got on track. . While this isn't the cure every ones hoping for its a start.. I hear a lot of people saying whats going to happen in 10 year. i don't know. i live in the moment and right now i feel pretty good.. I learned my one valuable lesson here. Stick to university doctors...They are more in to the research of the whole thing. Not to put down private doctors but money may come into play just a;little.
