I hope never to grumble again.

This post really is only applicable to people in the UK.

I watched the programme on Great Ormond Street Hospital last night and it certainly put things into perspective for me. It was about small children suffering from rare forms of cancer and was not easy to watch, but boy, was it humbling. These children and their parents go through hell to get a life. They are clutching at straws and have many heartbreaking decisions to make along the way.

Even after all the horrific treatment and operations, the children's future looks bleak

I thank God for my children's and grandchildren's health..

Sorry, further to the above, I meant to say it was applcable to people in the UK as it was on television here last night and not for any other reason. Sorry.

I saw it too Court, heart rending. Those poor children, it doesn't bear thinking about what those poor parents must go through, having to make decisions which could ultimately kill their child.

. I too am very thankful for my 4 healthy children and and my 2 little grandchildren.

It really makes you appreciate what you have!!!

My grandson was born with a defective heart. He is 7 now. In that time he has had 21 operations/procedures and one foot amputated. Bless him. It would appear now that this should be the end of ops etc. and hopefully a full and happy life
