Vaccine

Has anyone else experienced issues with medication not working as well after covid vaccine? It’s two weeks since my husband had the vaccine and his symptoms which are normally under control with just a few off periods are all over the place , especially pm/evening ☹️

I had some problems with stiffness in my leg muscles, joint pain, chills, and PD symptoms acting up, to a week after the second Pfizer vaccine jab!

Thankyou !! That’s exactly the same as my husband, it’s reassuring to know it’s not a sudden progression. How long have you been diagnosed?

Since about 2016 - on meds ( low dose) usually have low level symptoms with a little off time. Now tremor crazy after 4 pm

John was diagnosed nearly 14 years ago non tremor , functions brilliantly mist of the time , runs about 5k x 2 a week PT session once a week for an hour , boot camp session once /twice a week via zoom at the moment, usually plays 9 holes golf 4x a week . On loads of medication, ears well take high dose VitB , vit d , b12 and Symprove. Have bought Dr M course but not had appointment , getting all the necessary bloods here in UK not easy . 😀

Yes , I had the pfz jab in the UK, 3 days ago.I don't take a lot of meds but after the jab, the meds I do take are much less effective.

Plus my back, neck and shoulders are much stiffer.

Hopefully, this effect will subside 💉😤

AstraZeneca for me Christine. Dreadful fatigue ever since 😕

jeeves19 - Try Homeopathic Gelsemium for the fatigue. Worked wonders on my friend who spent 2 wks in the hospital with Covid. He had terrible fatigue after returning home, and the Gelsemium worked wonders.

Amazon has it, but it says for stage fright ?? Are there several types of Gelsemium ? My fatigue is the pits !

Kerrington-No that’s too long. Try it for5 days or so. If you don’t see any improvement by then, then it’s not the right remedy for you. And also if you show improvement, stop taking it.

Any fever or just fatigue? My temp has been elevated at night to around 100F. Seems to be slowly resolving. Thanks for your reply. Be well- JG

Had Pfizer with no discernible effects apart from slight tenderness in shoulder muscle of injection site the next day. Soon wore off and nothing unusual since.

Me too, I had 2 Pfizer shots and no issues other than sore at jab site and a little fatigue for 1 day after.

Had low grade fever the day after my second Moderna jab but no change in PD, which is mostly under control with meds and vitamins.

I just had my first maderna vaccine Friday. My shoulder hurt A LOT! I am hoping it doesn't make my meds quit working! I sincerely hope it is temporary for your husband.

Just a quick note that this poll suffers from survivorship bias. Perhaps people should post before they take a vaccine. To me, given my relative youth, and the fact that I have been exposed before means that I shall not be taking any vaccine. And these stories do not fill me with confidence that every one else should.

My husband got his first Moderna shot almost 2 weeks ago. He is on Sinemet plus Xadago for off times. No issues with vaccine. Diagnosed in 2016.

Had 2nd Pfizer almost 2 weeks ago. 1st shot a little soreness in arm. My Parkinson’s symptoms had changed tho. It seems my restless legs got a little worse at certain times of the day. Sometimes I felt like a rush was going through my body. After my 2nd shot I had a very sore arm. That night chills but no temp. Next day some chills then sleepy until next morning. I was Ok after that except the restless leg and body / mind rushes are still happening. I’m also more stiff legged at certain times of the day. A couple weeks ago I added a CD/LD CR at night.

I received my 2nd shot of Moderna on Saturday and had no complications. It just depends on the person.

My HWP and I both got Covid19 I would say there is a discernable increase in PD symptoms his jumpy legs at night got worse, more fatigue and even mildly effected cognitive processing. Read there can be a worsening of symptoms but should go back to baseline in a few weeks.

All who had the "vaccine" are experiencing more or less side effects. Let's hope there will be no long-term side effects. . . Perhaps, we will have it, but we will wait at least a year or two after it's determined that COVID "vaccination" will do no harm. We never know how our bodies will react to this gene therapy.

in reply toDespe

That sums up our feelings as well.

Thank you for this link Despe. My son was hospitalized after a bad reaction to vaccine when he was a toddler. (I am not an “anti-vaccinator” at all, just a cautious one after what we went through.)

You are very welcome! Always one has to ask questions about vaccines and side effects. I am anti-vaccinator as I my mom suffered the ultimate side effects of the flu vaccine as well as my sister who had an anaphylactic shock. Thankfully, my sister made it but my mom didn't. :(

Hi @despe, I hope your family applied and received compensation from the government run vaccination fund. May your mom Rest In Peace 🙏

I just don't want to take my mom's path who had the flu vaccine and died from side effects. Is this a good reason to delay having a vaccine we don't know anything about long term side effects?

Despe profile image
Despe

I don't understand the meaning of your comment. Are you suggesting that I should have a vaccine I know nothing about and its long-term side effects?

Yes! We agree. Great presentation and thanks for sharing it with me.

Ok, my dad got the pfizer vaccine two weeks ago and other than a sore arm for a day, thankfully no side effects (hope it stays like this for eternity!)

My husband just got second dose of pfizer this week and now his tremor is uncontrollable and before he was able to manage it just fine, barely noticeable. I'm hoping this is a temporary side effect of this unknown substance coursing through his veins. :(
