Entacapone side effects

I have been put on entacapone 200mg with

sinemet 25/100 3 x a day & I have been experiencing terrible sweating at night. At first, I thought maybe it's just going through menopause, but this sweating is way different, because I am literally sweating from my head to my toes. Has anyone else experienced and what did you do to help it?

Yes....and head tremors at night & vivid nightmares. I cut the horse pill in half & it still gave me bad night sweats and head tremors. I had to stop taking it.

I'm going to try cutting it in half, but if I continue sweating, I'll have to stop taking it too, it's miserable.

Thanks for asking, but I had to stop taking it. I just can’t take those Inhibitors, and it’s interesting that my Kaiser Permanente Neurologist keeps trying those on me, but I also see a VA Neuro & he believes that just increasing the mg’s of my carbo/levo may help a lot, so he increased my Sinemet and man such a difference I’m sleeping better, no sweating, I don't have as much pain, tremors reduced, I feel so much better.

Yes, I have just recently started taking it, about a month ago, 4 times a day & I hate it. I sweat throught the day & night. I also get very cold at times, not chills but need to wear a heavy jacket. I can't see my neuro until Mar 14th.
