Wow, they're moving fast!

It was only 3 months ago that the plans for this trial were first announced.

according to nature.com

The team plans to treat six more patients with Parkinson’s disease to test the technique’s safety and efficacy by the end of 2020.

Takahashi says that if this trial goes well, they might have enough evidence for the treatment to be sold to patients as early as 2023, under Japan's fast-track approval system for regenerative medicines.

I'll bet it costs a fortune and It may not even work. Why go to that length when all you have to do is start fast walking. Within a few years, you will probably get better, which I have done.

If you want to know more about it then look at my website - reverseparkinsons.net. It will cost you nothing! Contact me, I am sure I can help you.

Just today I heard a doctor (MDS) at a PD conference say that stem cells will not be the cure because the new cells get PD also and then they develop Levy bodies.

So frustrating trying to figure all this out. If I knew I could significantly decrease my symptoms for years with no adverse effects, I would do the stem cells even if not a cure.

I think that the title might have confused some people. This is a trial. It involves 7 PwPs. The first PwP has received half of his/her allotted stem cells. In 6 months time, if all goes well, he/she will receive the other half of his/her allotted stem cells.
