Safe to take Inosine with Rasagiline?

I was taking Inosine for 8 months in an attempt to slow progression of my PD. However I started Azilect 6 weeks ago and stopped all supplements at that time in case of adverse interactions. I want to resume Inosine but does any one take both or no why I shouldn't?

If you were to investigate the adverse effects of elevated urate levels you would know why doing so is a very bad idea. Many good ideas being used here with some success - high dose B1, mannitol, B3, to name a few.

I had my uric acid levels checked and they were very low, which is so with most people with PD. I took Azilect and inosine together with no problems.

Not a problem. The sure-pd study tested the safety of inosine with rasagiline and levodopa and found no problems. Keep on top of your urate levels. They started with blood tests every two weeks for this study.
