epigastric pain

Does anyone else get hit with intense pain in the epigastric region sometimes when they change positions in bed at night? Sometimes I just simply roll over from one side to the other in my sleep (or I’m mostly asleep) and I get slammed with an intense stabbing pain in the epigastric region. It goes away fairly quick, after I adjust my position, but it’s intense and scary and makes it difficult to fall back asleep.

Yes, I get that sometimes. I have to sleep propped up.

Thank you for your reply. I’ve tried sleeping propped up. It’s not as easy as it sounds, for me anyway.
