I suggest you carefully read Beating Pancreatitis . I believe it saved my life. I applied all of the advice given. Although there is no cure for Chronic Pancreatitis, there are ways to make lifestyle changes to diet and supplements that support the pancreas. Also, I find a heating pad helps.

Maybe medical cannabis can help. Codeine gonna make her constipated and dizzy. Paracetamol in high dose or long term can ruine her liver. Cannabis is natural herb, it has side effects, but for most People pleasurable, for some not.. It is not toxic in any way. It can help with lack of apetite, nausea and insomnia too. I sugest dry herb vaporizer or Rick simpson oil under tongue. Try to search Mission cure video about medical cannabis for CP. Of course, it don't work for everyone.. Best wishies

Have you contracted the doctor who handles her pancreatitis for pain and anti-nausea meds? Sounds as if still in recovery from acute attack and needs more supportive meds at home. That is where I would start. I would also be cautious about taking ibuprofen, which Beating Pancreatitis suggests. It can further irritate the stomach and can cause problems with bleeding. Definitely something to ask her pancreas doctor. It may or not be okay. I am advised not to take ibuprofen.
