We share your sense of hopelessness and the inevitable sadness. The one consolation I can recall is the relatively pain free manner in which the final stages developed and the sleeps just got longer and longer until the final one. So use the time now to prepare for the end - maximise your time together for his and your peace within.

So terribly sorry to hear your very sad news. I lost my darling husband 3 weeks after diagnosis on April 7th this year. Spend as much precious time as you can with him. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Linda xx
