Hi, I like you are waiting for CT scan results of abdomen and pancreas. So much pain in the back between shoulder blades and down left side plus pain and swelling in abdo just where you describe. Please keep us updated on your results and I will too. Looks like we might be in the same boat. Take care of yourself.
HI, I had a CT of abdomen and pelvic area 2 weeks ago due to pain in epigrastric area, convinced it was PC as pain was midway between upside down V ribs, left hand side and into back, results back and I have small para aortic nodes and thickening of stomach wall. I do not know whether this is the cause of the pain I have to see my own GP next week to discuss. Report says all ok, but again stupidly googling which say's cancer.
oh that's great news..very pleased for you.
I've decided mine could be anything I get strange stuff wrong. like blow a hole in lung..2 major bowel surgery. thyroidectomy. radical hysterectomy I seem to only do major.
once again very pleased for you.
Oh bless you ,
I have been convinced I've had pan can for 2.5 years , it's ruined my life and I'm still not convinced , it's a horrid way to think and live.
If you want to chat etc please feel free I'm a nutcase lol or at least that's what my gp thinks.
Remember ?
The mind can make a hell of a heaven or a heaven of a hell ?

hello. yeh I haven't been thinking about it really my daughter has a 2 week old son so he keeps me occupied. I'm a bit of a nut too so my kids tell me lol
my apointment Tuesday will let you know.
thanks have a nice weekend
Ah how cute, good luck for Tuesday.
Hi fellow nutters. I am much better today as I went to see GP on Thursday, never see the same one but this one specialises in gastro problems as she has IBS and GERD so when you say it burns, it stings, she understands. She gave me some mebeverine and after 5 tablets symptoms gone from 9 to 2 on pain scale. bloating gone, gas and burning/stinging all gone, just feel a bit delicate still. Anyway to me that means that it is unlikely to be cancer as the symptoms would not go with a simple IBS tablet. She also explained that a good radiologist would mention that they could see nodes etc as they are meant too be there. (I googled this and she is right) The fact that they are not enlarged is the key and the thickening on my stomach was due to collapsed stomach again which it would be as I was not able to eat before scan. She also said I have had these symptoms now for years and if it was pc I would be dead my now. She is now my go to person for stomach problems which will make it easier. She is going to see me in 2 weeks and if still not convinced will send me endoscopy. I am now going to get on with my life, look forward to seeing my son go off to Uni in October and stop googling. Take care
Now that sounds like a decent GP ?
Work with that gp I wish I could find one who has at least a clue.
tareena... That is some good news I'm happy to hear it.
had my blood test results come back today GP said its all clear, even after I've explained to him about PC how this can happen and I would like a more detailed check up, plus I'm loosing weight every day, just gone over a stone now in just five days, the GP asked me how did I come up with this conclusion that I have PC, I told him... Been online to check on my symptoms and all pointed to PC, he advised me to not go online checking, he will see me next week Friday to see if my symptoms have worsen if so then he'll send me back to the hospital for further tests.
can anyone tell me if they had nose bleeds as a sign of PC?
thank you all in advance to take the time to read this and replying.
