Does anyone else suffer crucial backpain with pancreatic cancer .POPPYSTOREY

No the pain is in my lower back close to my coccyx iwas diagnosed with pancreatic cancer 16 month ago . Thankyou for replying. Poppey Storey

My husband has back pain, but higher up on the right under is bottom ribs.

I have had pain in that area ,but this has been in my lower back for awhile ,I don't know it might be arthritis,I have a scan on the 31st,I will mention it do hope all goes well for you God Bless ,Poppy Storeyxx

Some weeks have passed, and he's now complaining of lower back pain, lumbar/sacral area as much if not more than the higher one. We were given weight and walking targets last week, have one week left to 2nd visit to Onc, who will then decide if he'll have Chemo at all.

His fitness is borderline as he also has a parkinsonism. The walking is not going well :( I'm going to nag him onto my stationery bike today.

Think he's close to giving up and not bothering atm...

So sorry for not replying scan went well but I have yet to see consultant I have been.n waiting 3 months for a colonoscopy, so I can't tell you mush ,so kind of you to ask ,Do hope your hubby doesn't give up but it's so hard when the going gets tough,I will keep you both in my prayers,take care love Poppy Storeyxx

Hi thanks for getting intouch ,yes I had it Dec 14th all went ok but I picked up a urinary bug from the hospital and its antibiotic resistant, bit of a nuisance and painful,I'm doing OK my tumour is stable ,and I'm doing my best to make life as normal as I can ,hope you are keeping well ,Godbless you Poppy storey

God bless you too Poppy, good news that the medication is working and that the tumour is stable. I hope that the UTI clears up soon.
