Cancer ‘the best way to die’? You couldn’t be more wrong if you tried

Thought you'd like to read my response to Dr Richard Smith's BMJ article in which he stated that "cancer is the best way to die" and concluded that "we should stop wasting billions trying to cure cancer"

my husband has just had pancreatic surgery to remove the cancer. I wondered how long it takes to eat any type of normal meal again.

The operation took 12 hours to remove the pancriatic cancer and a different primary liver cancer.
