PRP& Shock-Wave therapy for SI pain

I'm a 69 year old man with DDD and Arthritis and I had a cortisone injection in my SI joint about 6 weeks ago and it took care of about 50% of the pain. I just went in for my follow-up with the doctor and he recommended PRP along with shock Wave therapy going forward to help heal the inflammation in my SI joint. I was wondering if anybody has had that done and what their results were?

Cheers, Craig
