What are pin symptoms of SI joint dysfunction?
SI pain: What are pin symptoms of SI joint... - Pain Concern
SI pain
Pain either side of your spine about 2" above your buttocks. You can place your hands there and the area is sore to touch.
It may also hurt when bending down in a certain position or walking.
All or any or all of these occasions.
If you have pain in SIJ you will know about it.
Have you pain in this region?

For me it's a burning pain which radiates from that very specific point in the buttocks then travels all round my pelvis, into groin and top of leg. Can be mistaken for pain coming from L5/S1 disc area.
I have an underlying hypermobility condition so when SI joint is unstable, nothing above it is stable and my back, thoracic and neck area goes into major attempts to compensate so everything is on major Alex and screaming 😁
SI joint pain not funny at all.
Has the lower lumbar disc area been excluded from pain generators?
Hoping it settles,
Shirley

SIJ pain can radiate and feel like it is coming from other places - like your lumbar spine, or out to your hips. A lot of folk complain of hip pain first, but when you touch over the SIJ area its clear thats where its coming from. It will often be uncomfortable to sit, and if inflamed it can cause a lot of stiffness when you first try to stand and walk.
Yep. All of the above.
Major Alex??!!! Wretched predictive text - should of course have been major alert! No significance at all that my partners name is Alex!!! 😉
