Dr. Called today to let me know that he is referring me to an urologist after my CT scan showed my Bladder has a thickening wall...after a little Google search, I'm a little nervous as to what it could be. I'm 51 and male.

I wouldn’t panic. A urologist will likely check to see if you have cystitis, a bladder infection or if your prostate gland is swollen and possibly causing an obstruction.

Do you have normal coloured urine? Do you urinate more frequently than before? It might be bladder stones. Good luck.

Thank you for the reply. My urine is seems normal. All I drink is water. As for the frequency, 3-4 time per day on a normal non active day. 2-3 times if I'm more active and it seems a little darker when I'm more active. Over the years I would hold my urine longer. However, over the past 6 months I really try to eliminate as needed. (Sooner)
