If you can afford it you could book a session with a physiotherapist and see what they say. But unless you're in a position to go entirely private you'll probably have to deal the health service with regard to this issue at some point. Has the GP simply said they can't help and left it at that, or what?

Hi Scott The gp today says it will be months before you can see a rumatology He has really washed his hands off me to say the Truth. So a bit frustrated.i need a CT scan hips. And a CT of thorac region. That was from a Rumi I paid private for.

I feel for you, that must be a terrible experience to be going through. I will say one thing though, it's not the gp's fault, he has not given up on you, it's just that there are many others with serious issues ahead of you in the queue. Blame the politicians who deliberately underfund the NHS, not the doctors and nurses who have deal with the consequences.

Plus a potential or current strike by the health care professionals? It’s all over the NHS website with “guidance” about when they can strike and how to manage scheduling patients around the strike? What a terrible system that allows union strikes for these workers. I understand the fatigue after COVID but that complete lack of empathy for patients trying to get help for ANY health issue. We have our own problems in the US but the UK system is significantly worse. I am sometimes amazed at the stories I read about the NHS system here and on sites. What a mess!

This is not the place for political debate, people have their own opinions about US and UK health care but don't share them here, there are other places for that.

You think the UK system is significantly worse than the US one. I think the opposite. Neither opinion is really relevant in this forum. I'd say you should delete your original comment, not because it offended me, but because it is off-topic in this forum, and I'll be happy to see my responses disappear along with it.

I respect your opinion and deleted the post. I did not mean to degrade your system. I certainly don’t have any desire to debate the issue with anyone else here or in any other site. I’m not a big political debater anyway as it is something I can’t control so I have other issue to worry about like my health issues…lol! I reread my post. You are correct it was off topic and too critical. I hope we can move on agreeing that I made a mistake, acknowledged the mistake and corrected it as I should. Thanks for your explanation!
