CIRCULATION: Can anyone help me with advise... - Pain Concern
CIRCULATION
Just from the little information you shared maybe you should go to emergency care ASAP?!?
Thankyou for your kind words. I am not used to being debilitated but i am having to use a stick to get around, and this has affected me suddenly. from nothing. i just need reassurance from someone who has also been affected with this condition.
I’m sorry I can’t help but I understand life with a walking stick I pick mine up 2 years ago and quickly progressed to the wheelchair but NOT with your issue something unrelated. I didn’t mean to infer you might end up in a chair. Someone will be able to help. I wish you your very best health and a good day sir!
THANKYOU
Have they tested your Vitamin B12 , Folate, Iron , Magnesium and Vitamin D?
Have they done a kidney test? A kidney infection or imbalance can cause many unusual symptoms like numbness , headaches, Fatigue and loss of concentration.
If not , it would be worth asking to have all of those tests.
Vitamin B 12 deficiency can be common and causes Anaemia , poor circulation, numbness in legs and arms , pain , loss of balance , poor concentration and fatigue.
Vitamin D and Magnesium deficiency can also cause pain , restless legs , numbness , tingling and nerve problems.
Even if you eat well and already take supplements as you get older you often need more and you can get deficient easily.
Often not drinking the right amount of water each day can also cause problems of all sorts. You can be dehydrated even if you dont feel thirsty.
Doing gentle stretching exercises for your feet , kegs and ankles improves the circulation and reduces general leg pain and numbness.
My first suggestion would be to try some flight socks until the DR can give you more news or even some pills. There are lots of things can disrupt our circlution even being bedbound or housebound. Hope the blood test throughs some light on the problem. Good luck.
THANKYOU FOR YOUR INTEREST
I have the same thou I’ve suffered for years with my legs. I feel like I’m walking through mud. I’ve tried every tablet possible. Only a few weeks ago my doctor felt the pulses on my feet. She told me it not my circulation. I ask myself what is it then. I researched intermittent claudication. That affects different parts of legs.
I'm wondering if you have developed spinal stenosis and it's pinching your sciatic nerve. It usually only effects one side but can effect both. Do you feel any tingling along with the numbness?
