Hi all I don’t know if I’m allowed to say this to you all but I come with love and am just going to be honest because I need advice in order to get better and lead a healthy life. It’s not prescribed but I’m currently using 100mg zomorph, 600mg pregablin and 110mg methadone which is prescribed. I’m in a good head space mentally but want off zomorph so does anyone have advice if it’s ok to cut down to 50mg zomorph withdrawl wise will I be ok as I’m in the other things. Any advice great Thankyou.

I know could be difficult because not prescribed but I do think you need to get medical support/advice to come off the drug(s). Is difficult for us to advise you on how to reduce. You could put self at risk when coming off certain medications..... If unable to speak to your gp then possibly pharmacist would be able to advise you.

Having said which. Cutting zomorph effectively in half in one go seems a lot to me/too much in one go.

Sorry but in my opinion you should really seek professional help. I mean, being honest with them. However, these guys tend to be non-judgmental and extremely helpful: drugs-forum [dot] com.

Perhaps cut to 75mg to start with. Good 👍 Luck.

I agree seek medical advice but in my history drugs should be reduced very very slowly

Slowly do it ! but has others suggest have yourself monitored ..

Oh dear poor thing....... how long have u take zomorph for. I have been reducing and I really don’t want to worry u with what u will go through. Please please come clean with GP, how can you taper slowly, 100mg x2 will take 12 months if not longer to come off it. Even a 10mg drop made me go into a slight withdrawal. Dealing with this everyday will wear u out and mentally brake u. I’m 8 years opiates so maybe it’s the length of time I’ve been on zomorph that my problemI take 2 x60mg daily zomorph

2x pregabalin

6 Baclofen

I started on 400mg zomorph years ago and I never realised how awful morphine can be when reducing

Good luck, you will need help ok

I really feel for u xx
