Hi wonder if any one can help me was on 40mg of preds for polymalgia after tapering slowly off them had bad side effects slowly feeling better except for the hot flashes does anyone else have this problem

Hi Brenda I have just started on 3mgs of same for fibromyalgia. It is very helpful to me, especially for energy to do daily chores etc. what dose do you intend to settle on. 40mgs sounds like overkill. I noticed since I started on my 3mg I have started having hot flashes in the late afternoon when it’s wearing off. I never made the connection till I read your post. Hope they are not too bad for you.
