Chest pain

For the last month I have had pain in my chest on and off. The first time I turned and felt a pull beneath my breast. It felt better after a few days of rest and painkillers but since then despite taking it easy I have pulled the same muscle 4 times in as many weeks. What could be causing this? My chest “feels weak” and Im scared to move about in case it pulls again and it does.

Could it be costochondritis?

Have you had shingles recently ? If so that can kill any of the nerves from spine to chest area , and you may be feeling that ? The nerve may be dead and registering pain , is the pain full time or just when you are not busy ? Tony

When it comes to chest pain you should consult your doctor, nobody on here can tell you what is wrong with it.

Hi Chezza sorry to hear about the chest pain, I have this and it’s well worth speaking to the doctor about for sure, I had bloods, ecg and chest X-ray which were fine and told I had costochondritis an inflammation of the sternum and ribs that comes and goes , so I would advise a chat with a doctor , best wishes
