Reassurance for tickly/tingling feeling in chest

I’ve had costochondritis since I was 14 (now 20 years old) and I’ve always had this tickly or tingling, I guess almost itchy sensation in my chest. It’s not something on the skin, more actually inside the chest, back, creeping right up to the base of my throat and up the back of my neck? The sensation gives me that feeling that I need to cough but never actually have to cough, but with the current pandemic it’s obviously a fear I’m living with, not knowing whether it’s the effects of pain or an actual symptom of the virus, as apart from that feeling I am completely well as is everyone in my household. It’s a sensation I’ve had countless times before, but I’m wondering if I’m alone in feeling this or whether other people feel it too? I have very bad anxiety which I know can often cause palpitations that give off the same sensation. Any reassurance would be great from people who are/have been experiencing the same thing?
